I met my good friend Gary at the launch site around 6:30pm. We wanted to take advantage of the "premium" tide going out all day. The water level was indeed low and every grass flat with in our target area was exposed. Mullet activity was off the charts and you could see bait getting busted all ove the flat..And for once this month no wind was present. A perfect day.
Gary really put on a clinic on how to catch fish, tie knots, and what lure to use. I say this because he was really the only one to get fish to the boat. The "Hot Lure" was a DOA curly tail in Melon Back on a Power lock hook. Gary had a few reds and even a nice snook that threw the lure on a tail walk robbing Gary of the slam. My best fish broke off at the line to lure connection after a long battle on my lightest out fit. Weeds and shallow water ket the hard bait rods in the rod holders. Some of the comments from boater passing us in the channel as they watched us paddle across the exposed grass was funny. the bend in Gary's rod also ot some attention. We were off the water around 1AM.
Looks Snooky?

Mr. Spectaculous likes Grass

This is Gary Rubbing it in.

Gary is fearless, He was pulling fish after fish out of this hole despite all the creepy things that live in the grass....But thats where the fish are.

Gary is not afraid of the dark either...whatever it takes, because he's "Hardcore"

Thank you GOD for blessing me.
